Hello,
I own a 2007 Murano and i'm trying to figure out if the alarm on my car should actually go off when it is "armed" and i open the door by unlocking it by hand through an open window. Technically the alarm should sound when I do not use a key or the key chain to open the door. Please let me know if anyone had a similar problem or possibly someone may know a solution. Thanx in advance. |

If you arm the system with the windows open, reach in and unlock it by hand, yes...the alarm should go off. But it won't if you do it too fast. I believe it takes a minute or so to actually arm so lock it, wait a few minutes, then reach in and unlock and open the door. The alarm should go off.

unlock it, physically open the door. Now close it and lock it with the FOB. Wait a few minutes then reach in to unlock the door and open it door. Mine sets the alarm off when I do it.
