Default "Hand Brake" adjustment

Could somebody please direct me to a post where adjustment of the foot operated secondary brake is described?

My pedal is going too far down and I don't know what kind of brake it is. I must confess to not having looked too much at this car as it has been covered by 7 year 100k miles warranty, and not my car (wife's)

Is it e.g. like the old type with brake drum inside the rotor or?

Please advise thanks

The link looked correct but the second level link led to a "dead end"

Any other reference available?

This excerpt is from the 2005 Service Manual. I assume it is applicable on to all MOs.

It's identical on the 07 manual - I got curious and looked it up because mine needs to be snugged up a bit.

Thanks

The description looks a little "confusing" without having looked at all the areas of work.

I will attempt to accomplish the procedure in a few weeks time.
