I have a rattle under neath the MO for ages and i think it's coming from somewhere around the brakes.
I have had the car up on a ramp several times and the mechanic can't find the noise. Only happens when driving on bumpy roads /potholes. I have just had all the pads changed as they were suspected as being loose on the shims and were low anyway but i STILL have the noise. I am suspecting the footbrake but can anyone confirm do UK models have shoes on this footbrake or what and if so has anyone had this issue. Makes the car sound like a heap of crap! Any help appreciated. Thanks 1320arbroath Last edited by 1320arbroath; 10-23-2011 at 08:29 PM. Reason: . |

Welcome to the forum.
Have you considered the heat shields on the cats and y-pipe? They are known to rattle if the clamps fail. -njjoe
