Unhappy Rattle underside...

I have a rattle under neath the MO for ages and i think it's coming from somewhere around the brakes.
I have had the car up on a ramp several times and the mechanic can't find the noise. Only happens when driving on bumpy roads /potholes.
I have just had all the pads changed as they were suspected as being loose on the shims and were low anyway but i STILL have the noise.
I am suspecting the footbrake but can anyone confirm do UK models have shoes on this footbrake or what and if so has anyone had this issue. Makes the car sound like a heap of crap!
Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Have you considered the heat shields on the cats and y-pipe? They are known to rattle if the clamps fail.

It is the parking brake cable is too loose if you look under the driver side you will see where the one goes into two.
