If i press on the gas pedal fast its ok, but if i press on the gas pedal soft it hesiatates. |

You have 2 possible scenarios here. Each one will determine what is wrong. One is an easy fix and the other is a dealer fix.
Explain exactly what happens from the point in time you start pressing on the pedal. Assume you're sitting at a stop light, foot is on the brake pedal, RPM's are at idle, the shifter is in D. When you hit the gas pedal what do the RPM's do? You press the gas pedal do the RPM's go up or stay at or slightly above idle. When you continue to press the gas pedal further to the floor how do the RPM's respond? When you get far enough on the gas pedal does your MO lurch forward like you floored the gas pedal? All questions need to be asked. Detailed information needs to be provided so we can help. When you press the gas pedal... 1) If your RPM's stay down then it's possible the Throttle Body or ground points under the dash. Out of pocket fix. 2) If your RPM's go up and your MO does not move, then it's possibly a bad CVT. Warranty fix under Nissan's Extended CVT Warranty policy.

So...what you described sounds like what I went through. Not as much detail as I hoped for in your description but it will have to do. If you think of something different or can put a little more effort in describing it better then please do.
It sounds to me like you need to check your intake connections first. Check the hoses in/out of the air box, make sure all clamps are tight, MAF sensor is not loose, etc. Any leak in the intake hosing after the MAF sensor can cause this symptom according to other members. You also need to see if restarting your MO solves the problem. When you notice the hesitation, flip your MO into neutral, turn off the engine, wait a second or two, turn back on your engine, then start to drive again. If the problem is gone then it may be your Throttle Body assembly. I describe how to fix it and other things in my write-up below: http://www.nissanmurano.org/forums/8...lve-cover.html There might be a case where the ground points under your dash are corroded and not making contact. One ground point is just behind your gauge cluster and the other one is under the front passenger air bag assembly. Both are ground terminals that screw into a large bar that crosses the entire span of the dash. Those are usually things that need to be cleaned and retightened that fix the hesitation problem.

The only way you can check the grounds is to find/inspect them. If you're going to take the time to get to them, might as well take them off, polish them, and torque them down again via the supplied bolts. Can't go wrong.
I went straight for the Throttle Body assembly. The ground issue seems to be more of a rare failure mode but something to do just in case.
