got an 03 murano sl with the v6 last month and have had no problems until last night coming home from work. The problem: Hard starting ,stubbling very bad almost dies but note not all the way, loss of power. The check engine light came on and the brake and charge light on the dash where flashing off and on also. The code was P0340 Camshaft position sensor bank 1. this morning i cleared the code with my code reader, cleaned the batter poat also (little dirty), starts fine and the check engine light went off but have not driven it yet, but the brake and charge light on the dash are staying on??. when the car was running i checked the volts at the battery and it read 11.7 volts. Is this good, bad or what. Very lost don't know a lot about muranos.
Any info would be great. Thanks Jeff |

If you have a fairly new battery then the alternator maybe going. You should have around 14 volts at idle. 03 and 04 MOs have a history of having bad alternators. Most probably your MO had the alternator replaced already---under recall. Call a nissan dealer and confirm with your vin. If not, then you get a free alternator. That should fix your issue.
