Default Buying Murano help?

I've read the most recent post about buying a used murano. I was looking for input on the particular car I am looking at. It is a 2005 SL awd with 120K for 9000$. I've heard good things about reliability, but would really appreciate everyones input. Thanks

Where are u from ? Well , i have a 2004 SL with 65000 miles on it...
Its a great car,like new..
Only thing u should check is transfer case and cvt,i did that before buying it ..
Go to your local dealership with that car,or to good mechanic and have them inspect it..
Also u should look for any oil leak signs ( like on every car that u want to buy )

Default Inspection

I am in Connecticut. I will be having the dealer check all of the seals. There will be a 60 day warranty so I'll be sure to take advantage of that with any issues. Does anyone here on the forum have the ability to run a carfax for me? Thanks

If the dealer is unable to run the carfax for you...run. Check out the New York area. I have found several MOs there with less miles and similar prices. May be worth the trip.

I would get a extended warranty. You may have a issue with the transfer case $3500.00 and the CVT at I think $4000.00 so get it checked out well. I sold mine with 105000 and never had a issue. Then picked up a 2011 MO

Default Thanks

Thanks for the input guys. The car fax is clean. One owner, and had services done by dealer. Nothing about replacing cvt though. I think I might still go with this mo but will take the engine/drivetrain warranty. Does anyone know what type of warranty a Rebuilt cvt has? Am I crazy for going through with this? I've always wanted a mo and this is the first time one has been in my price range. Thanks

By the way. The dealer will be putting four new tires on the car as well as replacing the master window switches.
