I had some lazy door actuators so replaced the drivers door first because it was most lazy. Soon as I did that I noticed a problem where the doors could not be unlocked. As soon as I unlock with switch or key fob the door will lock right away. All four doors do this. I have a video to show behavior.
This seemed to start with replacing the driver door actuator. I went ahead and did the passenger side and the rear left door. All 3 were lazy so I thought replacing the 3 lazy ones would fix it. Well it hasn't. Thanks for maroon05sl on here pointing out that he he unhooks the drivers window/door lock controls everything works fine with the key fob. This is the same thing I am seeing. With the old actuators in the doors will half way unlock sometimes but I didn't really notice it relocking like it is with the new ones. Also noticed if windows are down when I shut car off they roll up on there own. Think maybe BCM now??? Not really sure. Any have ideas or maybe had this problem. |

Check the power door lock switch, the one that controls all the doors. Make sure it is operating properly. It almost sounds as if it may be stuck in the LOCK position.
