Default 07 Murano, when purchased with Sat Radio, Where is the Sat Antenna?

I am curious where Nissan puts the sat antenna when Satellite radio comes with the Murano from the factory. Does anyone know?

Factory sat radio should be on the roof. It is possible that someone may have removed it and installed it inside the rear gate. That is where I have my aftermarket antenna. You can check that by opening the gate and popping the cover by the third light.

Right, I've read about that install. My ride definitely doesn't have sat, yet.

I've got navigation, and I read in one thread that several people were under the impression when the Murano has navigation, that the XM tuner placement moves from the normal location (drivers side, underneath back seat) to actually behind the HU. Do you know about this at all?

I should be able to pull of an xm or sirius install just like anyone else despite having Nav. I have the white plug under the back seat....I should be good to go. Are you able to confirm? (I've been scouring YEARS worth of information and still not clear if having Nav puts me in a unique spot.) Thanks.

I am not aware of the sat receiver location change for Nav vs. non-Nav. I do not have OEM sat but I am pretty sure that is how it is.

Default Thanks

Thanks Zebelkhan....

I just bought the sat receiver (going with Sirius...I've only ever had XM) from
YOUR NISSAN PARTS.COM

and will be installing it this weekend, hopefully. Seems like there is no difference so I'm guessing that one post that I read was incorrect since everything else seems exactly the same as the other upgrades I've read about.
