I have an info screen that is in rough shape and Im wondering if I can just "swap it out" for a new one? I would prefer to get an 06/07 model becasue they are color and much nicer.... but is it compatable? I dont have NAV and wouldnt get a new one with NAV. Is it just a wire harness plug and done?
My screen currently looks like the anti-glare/ polarized coating is coming off in certain areas........ Looks TERRIBLE in the sun. ![]() Thanks in advance guys!

I too had the antiglare on my screen looking like crap, it was scratched and kinda blotchy.. I ended up getting a tablet screen protector and cut it to the right size. For $7 I got 3 screen protectors and now my screen looks good as new. The screen protector covers up the antiglare and you wont see it anymore.. quick cheap fix if thats what you are going for.. Be prepared to spend several hundred and many hours if you want to swap to a newer color or nav screen |

Couple things here. First of all you're running a 2004 Murano. The color screens without navigation started in 2006. As far as I know, nobody has attempted to put 06-07 year MO hardware into a 2004. My hypothesis is that it will work, but hasn't been tried yet. This is the list of parts you'd need out of a 06 or 07 MO.
Color Display Display Driver Module Audio/AC/AV Unit Dash Wiring Harness You can find these parts used because they're waaaaaaaay too expensive new. I upgraded my 2004 MO from the ugly orange screen to OEM navigation. Others have done the same thing in other years.
