Hi, I am looking to fit a set of coil-overs to my AWD 2005 Murano. They are virtually impossible to get here (Australia) but Yellow speed in the States have them..only thing is they seem to have them to suit a rear wheel drive Murano rather than AWD. I am trying to sus out if there is any difference and if the 2wd ones will fit my AWD..I would appreciate hearing from anyone that has any info on this.
There is no rear wheel drive Murano that I know of. Only Front Wheel Drive, and All Wheel Drive.
I am not sure which parts of the suspension a coil over affects so cannot help you there but if you go to a site such the one below, you can input information and find part numbers and pictures to compare:
Sorry about that..I knew there was a 2wd Murano and I confused myself and said Rwd.
My Murano has done 134000 K's and the suspension feels quite hard with very little dampening. That is why I am looking at new suspension. Springs and shocks alone will only lower the car around 30 mm..or and Inch and a half..or there abouts..The yellow speed coilovers will end up being around the same price as new springs/shocks..should be able the lower the car more and are adjustable..so seems like the way to go..just have to make sure they are compatible as Yellow speed have only put them in a 2wd Murano.
