Default Need key / fob help please / lost only one

I purchased my 05' murano used a few years ago and it only came with one key / fob. To keep it short I just lost it, grrrrrrrrr!!!! Who can I go to to get a replacement ? I called dealership and for 450-500 they get me one, REALLY ???? I see them On ebay for 50.00. I remember when I purchased my MO' the sales guy said I could go to locksmith and they could order / program for a lot cheaper. I do have a spare key but it only opens door. When I put it in ignition it wont allow me past putting it in ignition.

Thanks in advance for any info.

You can buy the combo, fob with key on eBAY for about $62.00+-. Your local locksmith can cut the key, cost about $4.00. As programming of the fob, you will have to have a Nissan dealership do that and they will charge around $65+ to do so.

You can program the fob yourself. It's a bit tricky to activate (inserting/removing the key 10 times) but here are the instructions:

That won't work for the intelligent keys that muranos have. You need to bring it to a Nissan dealer to get it programmed.

Was it a seperate key and remote or was it an Intelligent Key?

Also, if you have no spare keys then you may need to have the vehicle towed to the dealer as it won't start until the new key is programmed.
