Default Tire Pressure Light Stuck On (2006 Murano)

2006 Murano Tire Pressure Warning Light has been mostly stuck on for the last 30,000 miles. When it was under warranty, Nissan dealer tried twice to fix the problem. After each service visit, it worked OK for a short while, then it came back on - both times. Of course, the tire pressures are fine.

Car is out of warranty now, but the light remains lit. Anyone else have the same issue? Any "fix" to simply turn the annoying light off?

I don't know what pressure you keep on your tires but I would suggest bumping it to 38 psi cold. Try that and see what happens.

Another vote for 38 PSI or more. I run 40.

If not, then I'd guess you have a bad sensor in one of the wheels.

drizzy-

When was the last time the dealer worked on the problem? If during the past year he replaced any components then it is still under warranty.
