It's getting time to replace the tires on my 07 S AWD. I believe they're the factory tires. I bought it last year from Carmax with 22,000 miles on it. Have 34,000 on it now. The tread would probably go another year, but the sidewalls are getting cracks in them from age. Figured I'd go ahead and replace them, but was wondering what to go back with. I'd like to go with factory replacement Goodyears, but they're pricey. Any recommendations?

Yours is an impossible question to answer without additional information.
Do you live in Bangor, Maine or L.A.? Do you ever drive on ice? snow? rain-slicked roads? gravel? dirt? What price range are you targeting? If you look in the Tires & Wheels - Nissan Murano - Nissan Murano Forums section you will find almost 600 threads and 6,000 posts, many of them dealing with replacement tires. -njjoe

I recommend you visit tirerack.com and discounttire.com and check the reviews on tires in your size. Then pick a tire and go for it...based on what kind of driving you do and the reviews.

Agreed - I put them on my 04 SE 3 years ago at 61K. Now, at 97K, they still ride, perform, and look great, with lots of tread left. The CS4's netted me $590 on 3/09 including tax and a decent warranty, and after a $40 Cooper rebate.
