Hi all,
I have an 04 SL, i recently replaced the batteries in both of my keyfob's to find non of them work at all now. I have checked the batteries with my voltmeter and they are fine. Do you have to somehow reprogram the fob's after changing the battery. Many Thanks |

Sometimes the metal contacts that touch the battery become flattened, try and pull them back up with your key and then give it a try. That happened to me last month.

Just to rule out the obvious, your car battery is not dead right?

I've checked the batteries with a volt meter and they are fine, checked the metal contact tabs, they are fine also.
As far as i know everything is working (no blown fuses), however i will double check today. Thanks |

Check the circuit board inside your FOB for missing components. Look carefully at the pads because you'll see what looks like disturbed solder. I had to resolder a part in mine to get it to work.
