I have a couple spots in my 05 Murano SL where the carpet is totally worn. The previous owned had floor mats but did not use them. And just yesterday I bought a new BOSCH battery from PepBoys and it tipped over and ate a big chunk of my carpet in the back.
I did a quick browse at JC Whitney and eBay and found nothing. I was wondering if anyone had a solution to change the carpets with OEM kind of stuff. Anyone know a ballpark price? I am looking for the tan color Thanks!

It looks like its in the location where a nice oem mat could cover the entire thing. I'll just do that instead. All season or carpet mat should work. I have a black carpet one 04 barely used. Still looks new if you want it. But maybe you want the beige one though.

I have the OEM carpeted mats. They aren't too bad. Thank you though :]

Its much like your house flooring...if you don't have the extra old material you have to redo the entire thing or else it will not match the others. Why bother, just cover it up with a mat -- a bigger mat if oem aint enough.

I was thinking of selling the car sometime soon and just wanted to get it as nice as possible w/o killing myself. So I went to the local dealer today and it was $792.40 part $65.37 tax $843.88 labor or $1701.65 FFS // no way! I started looking on eBay and on those parts sites but can't find anything in the tan. I'm pretty unhappy at the whole thing though.

How about get the nissan all weather floor mats and use those to cover it? Or maybe get a nice set of weathertech mats?
Sounds like if you go to replace it you'll spend more than you need to.

If covering it with a mat isn't good enough for you, you will have to take it to a custom upholsterer in town and I'm sure they can fix that "spot" for you instead of replacing the entire carpet as Nissan would probably want to do.

I did that with my last two cars, but it wasn't worth the effort. As far as money I probably broke even, but took several hours of my time. I would have been better off selling them as is.

Sell it. Get rid of that bad boy. Pilgrim is right, on my Maxima I had a scrape where my wife backed into a wall. I bought the materials to fix it, and spent a lot of time doing it. And really I don't think it made a difference when I got rid of the car. I was basically out my time and money.

I had a 2007 murano with the tan carpet. I bought it used. Long story short, the carpet had extensive damage and I had to buy a full carpet replacement kit from Nissan. By the time the kit arrived, I had already sold my car and now I am stuck with the carpet. I paid $621 for it, but I am trying to sell. I am asking $450. Interested? I can provide photos and anything else you need.
