Default New regulator and motor driver window question

So my regulator and window motor went bad on the driver side of my 03. i replaced the parts finally this afternoon, and its great however, i have a weird issue. i can auto the window down just fine, and manually hold the button upward til the window stops. when i auto up the window, it goes all the way up then shuts, then comes back down like 4 inches and stops. in the manual i read that before installing the motor to plug it into power and roll down the window for approx 5 secs. which i did. so i was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue. any help would be great! thanks

Heres from the FSM..........http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/murano/2003/gw.pdf

Good luck.
