Default 2004 Murano Remote Start

Hi,

Installing a Avital 4103XL w/DLPK imobilizer. Everything is working when the key is in or around the ignition. I cannot get it to start with it out. I have traced all the wires and cannot seem to figure this out. The wiring schematic says it's a NON intelligent key vehicle, yet I still need the key.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum.

There is no need to post this twice. I deleted your duplicate thread in the AUDIO section.

The MO utilizes a smart key with a transponder chip in the key head. This transponder needs to be in close proximity to the ignition switch in order to disable the Vehicle Immobilizer System (NVIS). That may be your problem.

Thanks, wasn't sure where to post

I was told the DLPK replicates the key in the ignition, thus no longer neededing a key close to it

Who told you that? I suggest you contact whoever sold you the device and ask if it is 100% compatible with the MO.
