Default LH CV Shaft Replacement - How Much Fluid Is Lost

About to replace the LH CV shaft on my fiancee's 06 AWD and was curious what others have found for CVT fluid leakage after the old shaft is removed and the oil seal is pulled out.

Obviously if it is a considerable amount, I will need to have new fluid on hand to add once the new shaft is in.

Thanks

There are quite a few threads and posts on this. I have not done it myself but my understanding is that the oil loss is minimal (couple of pints). Sorry, but cannot help you more than that.

When I replaced my axle seal driver side, btw you should do this as well, it drain about a quart and a half. So get 2 quarts of Nissan NS2 fluid. Good luck.
