Towing

Can someone give me a definitive answer as to whether or not I can tow my 2003 AWD Murano behind a motorhome on a front wheel dolly? And if so should it be in Park or neutral. Thanks.

No, you can NOT tow an AWD MO with the rear wheels on the ground. Doing so will burn out the AWD clutch.

(However, if it was an FWD MO then it would be fine since the rear wheels on an FWD MO are not part of the drivetrain.)

Thanks for your quick reply. I've searched the forum and some have said the early models can be towed on all 4 wheels. Is this correct?

No. Drivetrains do not permit it. You have to tow with all four wheels off the ground. This is not a vehicle you can tow on a front wheel dolly.

There may have been some confusion between FWD and AWD models. In their initial posts, many who post here aren't clear which version they have. Makes a big difference relative to towing.
