Aftermarket Navi for 09_S

Is it posible to install an aftermarket Navi (ex. Pioneer Avic or Pioneer F series) on a 09 Murano S ?

Thanks.

anything is possible if you throw enough money at it. Given the lack of a DIN or double DIN mount, it will be difficult and expensive. Suggest you get a common GPS like a Garmin. They work well and have become dirt cheap.

There is no double DIN mount? How the radio/cd assembly is mounted in?

Thanks.

I think that the actual radio chassis is rather short, at least it was on Gen 1. You then have the issue of either cutting up your center stack fascia or replacing it with something custom. Mine is an LE- yours may be different.

I just ordered an AVIC Z3 today. Waiting for shipping and I have to find a Metra kit or see what's available out there.

Thumbs up

The reason I bought an S was because I wanted to install a lot of aftermarket items. Bought the best Eclipse GPS I could find for $1200 and it blows the OEM away. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! Also have the backup cam, bluetooth, XM, and a huge DVD screen on the roof for the kiddies in the backseat. Yes, it can be done easily. Next project is the self-dimming rearview mirror with homelink.

Are you able to display all of the infos which appeared previously on the OEM display now on your aftermarket radio's screen display?
