Like you, I thought about getting one of these for my 2012 SL. But after reading all the negative reviews, I think you can do a search and find some on this forum, I decided it was not worth it. Most people complained about poor fit, and when it was applied, it looked exactly like what it is...a stick on applique'. Doesn't look like the original, sticks up from the surface, and generally looks cheesy.
Some folks also stated it was almost impossible to get them aligned correctly. I just decided to keep my brushed aluminum.
I have the wood grain kit on my beige interior. I'm not a fan and originally wanted the silver accents everywhere. I've learned to accept and live with it, given it's the OEM design. From the cost of actually doing it and the lack of after-market suppliers or Nissan part numbers for it, it doesn't make it worth it like the poster above says.
