Transfer Case Seals - 2010 Murano

Hi just purchased a 2010 Murano with about 30K on it. Noticed a small oil leak because of spots on the drive way. Brought the car in and they told me the Transfer Case Seals were leaking. Did a little research and noticed this seems to be frequent occurance on with the Murano. Its covered under warrenty but wondering if there is anything I should know or ask when they take the car in to be fixed. Just dont want the warrenty to run out and then a new problem pops up with the transfer case or the seals. Thanks any information would be helpful

Never use your AWD button lock ever. You don't really need it anyways. Only use it when you are completely stuck from stop. Let the auto AWD system do its thing. This will prolong the life of your TC.

Did they replace the seal or the transfer case
