Default Husky custom molded all weather mats (black)

After much deliberation, I decided to get the Husky mats instead of the Weathertech mats. Reviews are tough to read and I liked what I saw on the Husky's. I got them at Amazon for $69 (front two only). I was a little worried about the "diamond plate" industrial texture look a bit. After receiving them, those worries are gone and that do not have an industrial look at all once in the car and the "diamond plate" is not really "diamond plate" which is a really good thing. I really like that the mat covers the entire dead pedal as well. Fit is really good (not perfect) but I am REALLY picky. They are completely doable and I will for sure keep them. They are not slippery but I have not experienced them wet yet. If I have any issues I will update this post.

Oh and by the way......you need to remove the hooks on the drivers side that hold the stock mat. Takes all of 30 seconds with a flat blade screwdriver. Just be sure to put them somewhere you wont lose them.

I got the OEM Murano mats that actually use the hooks that are already there. I got 4 mats, the 2 front & 2 back for a little less than you paid for the Husky mats. Mine are beige, and they match my cargo area mat.

I always lean to OE when I can. The problem with the OE mats for me is that you still get all kinds of debris on the sides no matter what you do. The "bucket" style of the Husky and Weathertech mats will reduce that by a huge margin. The OE mats are nice, I just needed something with a bit more protection.

WeatherTech DigitalFit Floor Liners fit perfectly and the driver's side liner has the holes for the floor mat hooks. I've had Huskys in other vehicles and though nice there is absolutely no comparison with the WeatherTech DigitalFit Floor Liners .

Hmm, I'm not sure about that. I have Husky mats in my Frontier and we just got WeatherTechs Digitals for Murano. I don't see WeatherTech any better than Husky.

I'm kind of disappointed in WeatherTechs after reading all the praises.

We also got the chrome license plate frames from them and I must say thy are huge let down for the price. Chinese would do same quality for the half of the price.

Well, not to belabor the issue but if you saw the fit in regard to the Huskys on the 2011-12 Murano and compared same to the DigitalFits (I have first hand) on a 2011-12 Murano, you would undoubtedly agree with my post. Also with Husky no hole for the floor mat hook on the drivers side as Husky used the old Murano mold for making the liners for the newer Murano.. This is also one reason the Husky's don't fit well in the newer Murano.

I do agree with you on the WeatherTech license plate frames. Not that great... and especially for what WeatherTech sells them for.

On the pix above, I like the rear mats covering the entire floor. The oem rubber mats that I got for my 04 does not cover the rear center console area. Also the driver side left/dead foot is also covered as a whole piece--thats cool too.--mine does not. So long its not dancing--creeping upward then you are fine. How much was it total?

This might be a dumb question but do the WeatherTech liners holes for the hooks go all the way through the liner or is it like a pocket they fit into? Because that would seem to defeat the point of having liners that keep water/debris off of the carpet.

Just asking cause Im interested.

They go all the way through but the hole is just not a hole drilled in a flat piece of plastic. The way the hole is drilled in a raised area negates the problem of water going down through the hole.. Well, maybe if you poured two or more inches of water the water would go through the hole.

Compare (see for yourself) the installed WeatherTechs to the installed Huskys.. Look at color, material, fit and you would undoubtedly choose WeatherTech.
I'm not anti Husky and actually have owned a couple of set but they pale in comparison to WeatherTech DigitalFits.

Have to agree with Bill. The holes hold the mats perfectly in place. Weathertech is the way to go for fit and quality
