Smile Reverse Light Wire

Hi;
I have a 2011 Murano LE AWD and I want to provide power to my trailer Back-Up lights. I have run a #12 fused wire from the Battery to the Far Rear compartment I also have a 7 Pin Trailer power connector mounted and wired for tail lights Directional lights and brakes. I have run a wire for the trailer back up lights from the trailer 7 pin connector to that same rear compartment. I want to find the wire on the left side of the rear gate for the back up light and tap into that wire to engerize a relay which would put power to the trailer back up lights ( #12 Wire ). Any help as to locating the wire that goes to the rear gate back up light would be most appriciated

Default Information on Reverse Wiring

It was with a lot of work and effort that I able to locate the Reverse Tail Light Power wire. If you remove the storage bin in the rear of the Murano on the left side ( there are 2 screws that hold it in place ) and remove the trunk lid cover ( you need to remove this cover to get the left side storage bin out ) you will find the main Wire harness about 4 inches from the rear of the SUV. You will find that the Main Wire Harness has a number of branches that branch off in different directions. From where the Main Wire Harness branches off toward the front of the SUV remove about 4 inches of the plastic covering carefully. Look in the bundle of wires for a # 18 Solid Red Wire ( there is only one Solid Red Wire ) this is the wire that powers up the Reverse Light ( this wire only has Power when in Reverse
