I'm on my second Murano a 2009 LE and want to buy a new one. Love the vehicle. Dealers have no information on the new 2013. I'm looking to get the blind spot monitor, the all around camera and ventilated seats. I don't care if not much else is updated. I looked at the new Infiniti JX35 which is a stretched Murano. It is beautiful and loaded with all great options but it is too big for my use. I'm getting concerned I cannot get any information and am fearful Nissan will not be making any improvements and I'll be forced to move on to another brand. BTW, I really appreciate the service department of my dealer and would miss them. Does anyone have any idea what's happening with the new 2013?

I don't think you are going to see much of a change in the MO until 2014. And everything you mentioned, Nissan basically reserves for their Infiniti brand. I doubt you see those on the MO or even the 2013 Pathfinder.

With one year left on the 2nd Gen Murano I'd have to agree. BTW, the Rogue has the all around view parking assist.

Drove the FX35 over the weekend and absolutely loved it. Now thinking about moving up to that or the new FX37 over the Murano. Just trying to figure out if its worth the extra $$.
The mention of having to possibly wait for the 2014 to see a freshened Murano wouldn't surprise me I guess. |

Remember that the '09 Murano came out in April of 2008 and the '07 was sold until then. There was no 2008. So maybe the '12 will be sold until April of '13 and the 2014 will be introduced at that time.

With the Tsunami they had early last year, I think most Japanese new models will be delayed. Personally expect the 3rd Generation to be out mid 2014 (another 2 more years they'll change the rear lights from chrome touch to Gold touch LOL
