Dropped our 2012 MO off at the dealership yesterday to get the dual DVD headrest set and DLR's that they ordered for us installed. Came back today to pick up the car. DLR's looked great, happy I ordered 'em even though they were expensive.
DVD headrests...looked in and something was wrong. The headrests were not the ones pictured on Nissan's website. The headrests were not color-matched to my leather. The headrests had the "Advent" branding on them. Called over our salesperson and his response was...."Wtf? how did this get past the service guys, didn't they see the colors don't even match?" Seems our parts guy had ordered an aftermarket brand and charged us the OEM retail price. Were told by management to come back on Monday. I said no can do since we're going to Chicago (6 hours away) for all of July. Manager said to hold onto em for the month and they'll see if they can get us the correct ones when we get back, but to go ahead and pay for them today. I said there's no chance of that happening, just take the DVD headrests out and put our factory headrests back in, which is what ended up happening. They said that the parts guy who ordered the parts for us would eat the labor costs out of his check. I've since called a dealership in Chicago who has the Nissan OEM (correct) headrests on order for us. A nice headache to drive 2 hours to the dealership for (local dealership is known for being HORRIBLE.) |

They were trying to pull a fast one on you. Good thing you noticed. They should have compensated you in some way. The DRLs are the best thing I had installed. Like you said, they're expensive but they look awesome!

I am tempted by the cheap ones on Ebay ~200-400 bucks but not sure about the quality and how well the leather color will match. |
