IM getting ready to do the brakes, pads are low and the rotors look great and are with in spec. i dont think i will even turn them, just add new stock pads.
anyone use a motive power bleeder on the murano? what adapter do you have? any pads that are comparable to the stock ones but slightly cheaper? im not a fan of cheap "parts store" pads. |

I use akebono ceramic pads - about $45 at amazon
Why do you need a bleeder for a pad swap?

The universal attachment should work. Make sure you dry run it first to assure its holding pressure before you add in the brake fluid in the bleeder. The attachment has to be clamped in tight enough so as not too loose pressure too fast. If its holding for five minutes or so it should be ok. You will need to pump it to keep pressure up anyway when you start bleeding each corner. You should keep it between 15 - 10 psi during the entire bleeding process. I copied the motive bleeder design and made my homemade bleeder which has been working for my MO and my friends maxima. My attachment is similar to the universal one. Good luck.
