I have a 2009 Murano Nissan. I need a spare FOB and smart. Can I do the programming myself . I saw the procedure in Nissan Help . (closing the doors and opening the rear door ETC. But I am not sure if the key can be programmed with it inside the FOB ?? Or will this procedure not work with the push button start. ???

I just recently purchased the same for myself. I am a locksmith. The answer is no! The only 2 ways this procedure can be performed is by a dealer or locksmith. BCM pin code conversion is required before you even start program procedure which is pulled from the vehicle with the help of a Consult III handheld computer at the dealer or a locksmith with software to do the same. Following that all keys must be present when entering the pin code and every key is programmed at the same time. Hope this helps!
