I think the tomorrow you were referring to already came and went, right? Was the dealership able to repair the lock within your timetable?

Nope. Need to re-sched.. I've googled it and some post is saying to take the latch clean it, lube it.. I can't do that this time of year.. I'll report back what dealer says

Keep in mind most safety equipment, seat belts included, are warrantied for 10 years if I am not mistaken so repair should be free.

so I called the dealer back and I insist to let the mechanic check the latch first. I really have a feeling they don't have parts in hand-- and oh boy I'm correct. (They wanted me to have an appointment-- check the latch-- order the part-- come back again..
)Why do dealers do this. If you don't insist they would not tell you straight, just pure BS. They even told me that 'it's working right now and Nissan might not re-imburse them' told them 'you want me to drive until it's completely stuck!? ![]() eventually they told me they gonna replace it and maybe will take an hour to install.. WTH anyway, as far as I know I don't need to pay anything right (even labor)?
