Thanks, Bill.

I started the thread because the seat only moves back a few inches when you open the door. I wanted to know if this is normal, since a few inches doesn't make any difference for easing exit or entry. Are you saying this is not how it should work? From what I'm understanding from Halwg and others, this is normal behavior in 2012 models, and a departure on how things worked in the past. Plus, since it's an SL, the steering wheel does not move automatically. If it did, that would be a help.

Since I'm going on the assumpition a few inches is all it moves, I'm trying to find the easiest, and hopefully automatic, way of moving the seat all the way back for entry and exit. I have read the manual several times, re-programming from scratch a couple of times. I have followed the steps and have successfully programmed it. It still doesn't move back more than a few inches upon exit.

Happy New Year,
Kevin

wow I agree with Bill this is not going anywhere. Yes, it's normal for 2012 or at least all the 2nd Gen MO that it moves 3-4 inches back. It's merely for ease - let's leave it at that.

Why don't you sync Fob #1 to Set 1 for your wife like you mentioned and sync Fob #2 to Set 2 for you.

Here's a video from an Infiniti Dealer and hopefully since Nissan is the parent company it works the same way.
