Default Is this okay?

Sorry I meant to ask this question in this forum but I think I had a brain fart and posted in the other forum instead.

I have a 2009 MO, when I look at the dash read-out it says I get follow fuel millage:

L/100km :12.3
km/h: 38.9

I don't drive my MO like a race car, and I do keep it in the fuel econ range most of time when I driving (I gage this with my Garmin bluetooh connector).

Thanks.

eh, not sure but didn't you say you drive up and down hills on your other thread? Can you convert that to MPG/MPH please.

Yes I don't live in a flat city.

If I understand this site right, and the calculations are right it says 19.124MPG

Convert MPG to L/100km and l/100 km to MPG Online Calculator

sr-

19.1 MPG is not bad for a 265-horsepower, 2-ton crossover driven on hilly streets in the city. Quite the contrary, that is good mileage.

I will verify what Joe said. I live in very hilly terrain and driving in and around town I get about 16 - 16.5 mpg. On the highway, and particularly nice level interstates, I get 22 - 24 mpg. So your mileage is quite acceptable.

You know the Canadian government and insurance companies consider the MO to be an SUV not a CUV.

I think they consider the Rogue to be more the CUV for Nissan.

I'm getting less than 15 mpg in this week.
I commute very short distance (~ 4 mile) and Toronto weather is quite cold. The temp. of my CVT & engine oil reaches normal just before the arrival.
I think 19 mpg is not bad.

This would explain why my MO seems a bit sluggish in the morning, even though I let it warm up this morning until it the tach was in the middle 1,000 and 1,100 for the first 1/2 of KM it drove like the automatic choak was on, as I lightly press on the gas the RPMs went over 2k were as they normally are at 1.5k.

I am only 3km from my work both ways.

Short trips, cold weather, possibly winter fuel formualtion (not sure about Canada on this) are killers when it comes to fuel mileage. At 19 MPG, you're doing quite good.

Yes that's true, I know that Petro Canada uses Tactrol. Shell has their own formula and so does ESSO so here in Canada we can't get away from fuel that doesn't have some kind of additive in it.
