Android Remote start in a '12 MO

Finished installing a Python 4104 remote starter with the DBALL transponder and the VSM200 module for cell-phone activation. Works great but so far the power hatch won't operate from the phone. I may have to hard wire to the switch as the data connection doesn't seem to do it. There is an 8 to 12 second delay depending on cell-tower activity so one might as well use the factory fob to pop the hatch. Not an install for the beginner!
