Default Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet Revealed Ahead of LA Auto Show

Quote:
Nissan continues to push forward with its no-holds-barred approach to automotive design, unveiling a new two-door convertible version of its Murano SUV. Named the Murano CrossCabriolet, this bizarre new model follows on the heels of the launch of the tiny Juke crossover – criticized for its styling, but praised for its impressive engineering package.

Believe it or not, this is no concept car and Nissan will actually offer it for sale starting next year. It’s the world’s first AWD crossover convertible, and Nissan claims the package delivers the space for four adults as well as sufficient cargo space – even with the roof down.

We’re excited to see more of this car when it officially launches at the LA Auto Show on Wednesday and will be sure to bring you plenty of photos. Until then, check out our LA Auto Show Preview here.

Is this the start of a new trend? Or are Nissan’s designers one sketch away from a straight jacket?

This Mo will sale good in the west coast but not in the east coast because of the humidity. I 'll take the stock Mo over that.

Does it come in 4 door as well, or is this picture a fake?

It looks "interesting", but I'm definitely not a fan of it with the top up.

The spy photo is a fake.

The production ragtop has two doors that have been elongated almost 8 inches to accommodate rear-seat passengers.

By the way, the roof-less MO will set you back over $50,000 when you throw in taxes and other fees!! This list price is $47,200. I doubt it will be discounted, not unless it is a flop.
