Hey guys and gals,
I just wanted to introduce myself since I am new to this forum. My name is John. I just purchased a used 2011 (6500 miles) CC this past weekend. Got a hell of a deal ($29k) and drove it back from Houston to Nashville where I live. It is black on black. I really wanted the tan two toned interior but the one model the dealership had was new and a good $5k more than the one I took. So, Ill live with it. This car is my second "X-files" Nissan convertible. I also have a 1993 Nissan 300zx convertible as my sunday driver. It only has 103k miles on it and I am almost finished restoring and upgrading it with one year left to pay that sucker off. I really like the way the CC drives. Nice features, interior and handling. I have to get used to the automatic convertible top as my 300zx is a manual top. I have noticed both of the tops creak a bit when going over rough pavement or speed bumps which I suppose is a convertible thing. This is the third convertible I have owned. Besides my current 300zx, I owned another 300zx convertible back in 2000 for about four years before selling it after my first marriage. I have noticed the CC is a real head turner and attention getter. It is also polarizing. Love it or hate it. Myself, I think it looks better with the top down than up but either way, for me, it's a new car with a warranty and it's unique. John |

Welcome to the forum and best of luck with your rag-top.
Post some pics when you get a chance. -njjoe

I would also enjoy seeing pics. The CC is a pretty rare bird in my neck of the woods. My dealer has only sold 3 since they were introduced. 2 black on one silver.
Give us your opinions on how it drives and the utility you have with it.

Yes, the same here.
What is most interesting about your comment is that it is similar to one the local dealer said to me. I had to go several states over to get a really really good deal on this car. One thing the local dealer said to me was that they were not selling well or quickly off the lot. Yet, he would not work with me on the price, which I do feel is outrageously high, especially for a vehicle that is not flying off the lot |
