Have you guys heard about Tulsarama? Apparently the townsfolk of Tulsa, Oklahoma buried a brand-new 1957 Plymouth Belvedere in a time capsule fifty (50!) years ago. The two-door coupe was entombed in a concrete sarcophagus under the front lawn of the county courthouse.
Well, back in June of this year they had a ceremony to open the time capsule, and guess what? The concrete tomb was not as water-tight as they thought and the car spent a portion of the past fifty years underwater.
All is not lost, however, because Boyd Coddington has committed to restore the vehicle. Time will tell if he is successful.

It's a shame they didn't properly seal the sarcophagus fifty years ago. It would have been interesting to see how the car would have survived. Oh well.
