| The 2004+ Nissan Maxima has an option for heated steering wheel. The steering wheel is identical to the Murano's as far as I can tell. I think if I can find a used one on eBay with the heating element I'll grab it and buy the Maxima control button. I think I can install it and add the feature to the Murano :) |

| It is an awesome feature on my Maxima. You'd be surprised how nice it is to get in your car when its 20 degrees out and you push a button then a few moments later its toasty warm. |

I love that idea. This is our first winter in Colorado, and my Texas grown hands are getting *cold*. Keep us updated.
Related mod: I was going to start researching adding a heated exterior mirrors, until I found out that I've apparently already got them! Now to see if they actually work. |

| My only real concern is setting the airbag off while uninstalling or reinstalling. I still have to locate and buy one on the cheap. eBay has been slim pickings... |

| I have to say, that is one feature I really miss from my '04 Maxima. Driving with gloves is not as safe as you would think, since those gloves are typically thick and relatively slippery. I never understood why the MO did not have the heated steering wheel as an option (it was standard on my Max), especially since the steering wheels appear to be identical. The Max's wheel did get a bit too hot after a while though... |

Actually, I have a 2005 Maxima as well and the steering wheel has plastic instead of aluminum trim. thats the difference I see. The only additional options I wish the MO had was the power tilt wheel and power fold in mirrors. I dont see whty the Max has power fold in mirrors, they are so tiny. |

So their cars can more easily fit through the garage door opening. :4:

I'd love to have it on my Murano. I have about 6 inches of clearance on each side of my car. The other day my wife made it in the garage with about 1/2 inch clearance on the driver's side (saw her pull it in). She's sensitive about her driving, otherwise I'd say something :)
Our Maxima has this feature, but its not as nearly as wide as the Murano. |

My wife has a Max and she just loves that heated steering wheel and if we are getting into our cars at the same time and it's cold out she reminds me of how nice her heated wheel is!!! I wish my MO had one, it is nice when it's extremely cold out and it heats up faster than the seats do!!!
Warm gloves to wear in the winter are bulky and driving gloves are a sheer thin leather that do not keep your fingers warm. I'd like to have the heated wheel! I think most people would pay the little extra to have it. |

| I'm checking eBay daily for one. If anyone sees a black heated Maxima steering wheel hit me up! I'm definitely doing this mod if I can get ahold of one on the cheap... |
