Have an 03 SL AWD and have loved it since day one but the CD player has lost the output on the left Channel. This really hurts the Jammability of ACDC, Metallica, and even Country music. Has anyone ever heard of this happening?? Would there be seperate outputs on the head unit for radio and cd, loose wire? thats rediculous but who know without tearing the unit out. Id ask the dealer, still under extended warraty, but i trust a whole lot of people i've never met more than i'd ever trust a Car Dealer. Any info would be appreciated.
Side notes : I've had 3 alternators - tore out the gas cap lock myself - and got a 2mpg increase in mileage after the 60K tranny flush $149 at the dealer - WORTH IT:) |

| It's almost definitely a known issue. The ribbon cable between the cd player and the rest of the head unit isn't soldered properly. Unfortunately, even though it's a known issue, you'll have to pay to replace it if you're out of warranty. |

| I know it had to be something simple but it sure will be nice to go to the dealer with a little knowledge. |
