Put in rockford p1000 amp and 2 kicker cvr's. When i increase the volume past 18, everything cuts out! I used 1 of those high pass converter things and used the stock bose sub as the high input and then rca's from the converter to the p1000 amp.
why is it doing this and how can i fix it! |

If it works fine at low volumes and then cuts out at higher volumes then it is probably clipping.
What are your gains set at on amp? Is it mono or 2 channel?
How do you have the subs wired? What ohm load? Im pretty sure CVRs are dual voice coil, did you get dual 4 or dual 2?
The first step is probably to turn the gain down on amp. Possibly even turn down the gain on the LOC, if it has one. You should also check to make sure you have subs wired right so you are getting the correct draw. |

there 2ohm subs. the p1000 is a mono amp. gain is basically low, like 1/4 turn.
All the speakers cut out as well. |
