I've installed Kappa tweeters in the dash and am about to install infinity's i the doors. I can get a great deal on a set of Reference. I have the Bose HU. Shoud I go for Kappas or Reference in the doors?
Thanks |

| If you keep the Bose amp then the Kappas are better since they work under 2 ohm (Bose output). The Reference series works under 4 ohm so you would end up getting less volume. |

Infinity's web site says the Reference 6022i's ARE 2 ohm (not 4 ohm)..............same impedence as the Kappa's.
You guys seem to think there is a difference?
I do plan to keep the Bose amp |

See the specs and material...Kappa is better speaker.
Pay little more and go with Kappa, you won't regret it.
I have infinity speakers hooked up for my 7.1 home system.
They rock. But, for my car I settle with polk.
Are you keeping the bose amp, after a while I'm sure you gonna
upgrade that too. Kappa is too good for stock amp. Enjoy~

Thanks Nizmo. I will...that does it. If I'm going to open up the door panels, I'm not going to do it to save 30 bucks! |
