Hi, I was curious yesterday so I started poking around my car. I found two open "plugs" in the rear of my car. I have the S trim with factory radio.
One of the plugs was to the left of the spare tire, the other was behind the left side passenger under the cargo area. From what I read and see on this forum, i think the second one is for a Sirius radio, correct? I am not sure what the other on is for? Possibly the sub?
I can post pictures if that will be helpful determining what these are for, just let me know.
Thanks,

Photos are always good to see.
What year is your MO?
I think you might be right about the second one behind the passenger seat because the SAT radio normally gets mounted on the cross-member's support just behind the rear seats.
Is the first one left of the spare tire a white plug with 2-pin connector? If so; that's not for the subwoofer that comes with a Bose system. I have that plug too but have yet to determine what its for. |

The year is 2007. Are there any open ports in by the radio I can hard wire my satellite radio to instead of using the 12v plug by the glove box?
I will try to get some pics this week. Tonight I have to bring it to the shop because of a dent on the bumper at time if delievary (dealer paying for repair).

To make sure I understand what you're saying: You're planning to use an aftermarket satellite radio and want its power hardwired?
You could pull the plug next to glove box and hardwire behind the plug for a 12 V signal. You should be able to hide the feed wire from under the head unit. That would allow you to keep the glove box 12V outlet for cell phones, etc. |

No what I mean is I have a sirius external unit (sports 4) that I will mount on dash (If I can find the room for it, HAHA, j/k, my friends say I can put a tree on my dash, any way). So I wanted to know if there was a way I can hard-wire the units power to an accessories source some where.
jkster107, when you say
quote: You could pull the plug next to glove box and hardwire behind the plug for a 12 V signal
is there anything currently using this plug? Not sure I follow exactly what you mean by "pull the plug"
Thanks,
