I have an 03' Murano with no Bose/Nav, I have an aftermarket Sirius Receiver installed (which if you have an orange screen is far superior than using the OEM SAT IMO), but I digress.
A while back my CD did the "clickety-click" when I tried to eject. Had I not had my Sirius which has an Aux input (read: Ipod jack) I probably would've have gone crazy.
Since I couldn't replace the radio, and I was out of warranty and wasn't shelling out $1000 to replace a factory radio I just left the CD in there. Eventually my searching turned up a place that fixes OEM radio's for a decent cost. It's a flat rate depending on your radio (singe v multi disk, casette or not) but for AM/FM/CD the cost to repair the unit, find and fix the problem is $137 +shipping.
This place is awesome-- 1-3 business days for turnaround and if they can't fix it you only have to pay for shipping to and from. Check out the website.

Hopefully since we're stuck with our OEM's they can remain in working order without having to sell body parts to pay for repairs. |

You can get them a lot cheaper on eBay... |

| I've looked on ebay numerous times. The only radio equipment I've seen is wire harnesses, Satellite kits, and the actual radios are from Lee Auto Parts for more than $250. |

| I'm out of town so the radio is sitting in my house waiting to be reinstalled. As soon as I get it put back in I'll report back with details. It'll be after Christmas. |

I'm curious if did work for you or not. I have a similar problem with my radio and I'm not willing to pay $1100+ to the dealer.
Thanks,

| SORRY!! I completely forgot to update this. Yes my radio works perfectly. The price was exactly what they quoted and they got it back with a couple of days turnaround. Everything is just as advertised. Definitely a way to save your Mo radio!! |
