I don't think anyone has installed that one yet. If Im not mistaken it is significantly more expensive than the other options available. I started a thread a while gathering all the information about various options.

Although the PAC units allows input of the audio, I don't think it integrates the audio into the vehicle. It works more of a hub so that you can have multiple sources plugged into 1 aux input in the radio.

I have the NAVTV2GO, Garmin GVN53, PAC AAINIS2, and PAC IC-AV. I haven't been able to install the NAVTV yet since my car is in repair shop.

Once installed I will be able to view NAV on screen while listening to any source I have installled, view factory screen Infotainment stuff while listening to any source, or view Ipod video while listenting to any source.

The 3 video options (NAV, OEM, and IPOD Video) will be controlled by a 3 position switch. Audio option will be controlled by head unit as normal.

Yea i have seen that thread.
I guess I am just trying to find the cleanest way to have video play on the LCD and not have to use a FM mod for sound.

I too was looking for the cleanest/easiest solution.

Im pretty sure the PAC unit will still require the PAC AAINIS2 to get audio into radio. It also requires using a remote to switch between video sources. Not that it can't be bypassed but the PAC unit also "requires" you to hook it up to your parking brake so it wont allow video to show while driving. I'm using mine for NAV so obvisouly would need to see screen while in motion.

I went with the NAVTV2GO because it didnt use a remote. I already have 2 remotes in car and didnt need a 3rd.

Just replace the Mediagate with the ipod.
I used the PAC AAI-NIS2 for audio and nav2go for video.... all plug and play into ffactory harnesses

That looks pretty cool. What the heck is a mediagate?

Mediagate is a small hard drive laptop device that you can load DVD,audio and picture files on. It then plays them on your factory stereo uquipment and screen. I dont have an Ipod, so now I have 120GB of storage for multimedia files in the car.

Where do you get a mediagate
tacookaz
Newegg.com has it for $79 plus you need a laptop hard drive (120GB is like $60). Several places online sell it.
