Neo Prolink - audio adapter - Click HERE for Original Thread

This looks like a nifty device...

Anyone try it?

The Neo ProLink iPod adapter gives you high quality audio, power and charging of the iPod as well as control on the radio and steering wheel (if equipped). When the iPod is connected, you will have full control on iPod from the iPod itself, your iPod and screen will NOT be disabled when connected. You will be able to access and use the menu, click wheel, track and play/pause buttons. There are no special playlists that need to be setup, and you are not limited in anyway. You will have access to your entire music collection from playlists, artists, albums, songs and genres. This adapter also has an AUX port on it so that you can connect a DVD, SAT, or any audio device of your choice.

You can do the same for half the price with the PAC and belkin car kit. Or, for the same price you can get the Nissan Ipod adapter and have the info on your Mo's screen (however - ipod will be disabled).

I don't know; for $199 I would rather pay another $30 to get the front harness(my '03 SL Bose didn't come SAT prepped) from nissanipod for complete control through steering wheel and front display screen....hope that's helpful:D

so with this one, you can control via the steering wheel/radio control AND via the ipod itself?

I have this unit. It doesn't show the song/artist on the display like it is supposed to. Disappointed that I paid $ 200 for full functionality and got what a $ 100 adapter can do. Called Neo and they said the Murano doesn;t allow for the song/artist to be show. They were supossed to e-mail their tech specs stating this and didn't.

Are there other adapters that will display the song/artist, allow the steering wheel and radio controls to control the iPod and still allow control from the iPod?

Please let me know.

What's the best option if you just want to add an auxillary audio line that will work with any external player (iPod, XM, Phone...)?

The simplest and the cheapest. Connects to the back of your radio and will give you two aux audio inputs but no other controls.
