| Looking to buy a 2007 Murano "S" model and would like to know what is a good price to pay for one. Has anyone gotten their dealership under $26,000? |

| I didnt purchase an S, but did get an AWD SE for 29,800. Looking at the trim level costs, I would think you could get an S for around 26k. Now that the new model is coming out, it should be easier to get a good deal. Worst case, dont pay over invoice before incentives !!!!! |

shnrap-
Welcome to the forum.
This late in the model year you should be able to get yourself a very good deal. Even though the 2009 MO is not yet available, it will be hard for dealers to sell a brand-new, one-year-old 2007 MO in 2008 without discounting the price. And once the 2009 become available the price for any remaining 2007 "S" models should drop.
Nissan is currently offering $1,500 cash-back on new 2007 MOs. They claim the deal expires on 01/02/08, but I would think they will have to extend it if 2007 inventories are high.
At this point in time I would shoot for at least $500 below dealer invoice after the cash-back is figured in. I think dealer invoice is around $25,600 for the FWD "S". Factor in about $750 for the destination charge and you are looking at $26,350. Throw in the rebate and you should easily get out the door for under $26,000.
Good luck.

The dealers in my area are advertising the '07 S at around $25.5K before taxes and license. I'm sure there is room to negotiate further down as we approach the end of the month/year.
The catch is that they have very few '07s left in stock. One of the dealers only has 5 left with only one S available in black. In fact, 3 of the 5 '07s are black, which I guess is not a popular color. |

With all the stuff that I wanted and then the after-market stuff the sticker price was around $35,
But when we went to pick it up we had to pay off the Pacifica. So I wrote a check to them for $52 and change. |

| My wife just got in an 07 S-AWD for $23k and change. I had to go out of state to get it though. $2k cheaper than any of my local dealers. |

What was the 2007 inventory status? Were there many to choose from? Also, did the dealer(s) give any indication as to the availability of the new 2009 models?
Thanx in advance.

Check out "Nissan USA" and design your Murano. Put in your zip and check all dealers inventory in your area. Might be worth traveling up to 500 miles to get what you want at a price that would pay for your trip. And the best thing is YOU GET TO DRIVE IT HOME!!!!!
Inventories were dropping fast, but with the '09's around the corner I have noticed a lack of interest in the '07's. Our local dealer were not able to keep them more than a week and now they have had two for almost 3 weeks.
Oh yeah, don't fall for the "We won't be getting any more '07's." They told me that two months, and 10 Mo's ago. |

I doubt very seriously you are going to find a Murano for less than $28K or $29. Most dealers order the Murano S with the "S Convience Package" and maybe other things like pin striping and locking lugs. We just got a MO S this past Saturday and the price before discounts was about $29,800. We have a friend that works at the Canton, MS Nissan Plant, so we get the VPP (C Plan) Discount.
This the plan:

As indicated, you also get any incentives on top of the VPP. Works out to a pretty sweet deal. Find SOMEONE that works for Nissan and you can get it too. If you have a relative, even better! It is AWESOME!!!!!:D |

Keep in mind, that the price will vary depending on the options that you get. For instance, I purchased my 05 S model with the convenience package and AWD which included:
- AWD
- Mud Flaps
- Floor Mats
- Rear cargo cover & mat
- Tow Package
- Roof rails/cross bars
- Adjustable pedals
- 10 way power seats
I ended up paying about $27,500. |
