I just purchased a 2005 Murano, Sat Ready, w/o the satellite installed. About 6 months ago, I put a Kenwood Unit into my previous car, including integrated dvd video, mp3, ipod, XM and Garmin navigation, so I've been going through some audio / nav withdrawal.
After reading a good deal of the posts in these forums, I went out and purchased the OEM XM Radio kit from Grubbs, and an AAI-NIS2 adapter. I also purchased a proclip mount for the iPOD. I have 2 60 GB iPOD Photos that I'll be using with this. I also ran out and got a Nuvi 660, after missing my company's holiday party cocktail hour due to getting lost :3:.
The last thing that I need to purchase is an IPOD interface, and it seems that there are two readily available, the "P.I.E UNi-POD Auxiliary iPOD interface" and the "Blitzsafe UII Universal iPOD Interface".
Can anyone recommend one interface over the other? Also, does the AAI and interface fit behind the radio or do I have to put them somewhere else? |

Dont know much about the UNi-POD, but I do have the Blitzsafe UII installed and I love it. I also had it in my last vehicle. I love how it pauses the ipod when the car shuts off but continues to charge it for an additional 15 mins. I have not had any trouble with it. |

| I don't have any experience with the ipod stuff, but I did install the AAI-NIS2. I installed everything under the console before I realized how much room was available behind the radio. I wouldn't think you would have any problems getting it to fit. I think others have done it..... good luck |
