Has anyone had their XM radio say "Loading?" - Click HERE for Original Thread
rtking
I don't know why, but my XM radio works for a little while, then it starts to say "Loading" and I don't receive anything. (It's dead air, but the display still shows the channel # and the word "Loading."

Do I have a defective XM receiver? Or is something else wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's normal for the XM satellite radio tuner to display "LOADING" periodically for very brief periods of time as it acquires new information from the satellite. It's only a problem if "LOADING" comes on and stays on and clears only if you turn off the car. In that case, it's likely you've got a defective tuner. There was a batch of such tuners that was sold, and yours might be one of them. If you got your tuner from Grubbs, just get in touch with Carvey there, and he'll make things right.
