I just got the 09 Brochure at my dealer today, scanned it, and zipped it up for download.

Dealer said he wasn't supposed to release brochure till they had the cars on the lot so the info might help some folks out there;

J;
Thanks for taking your time to post that for all of us!! Nice job and much appreciated.
It was sweet looking through the brochure; it was like falling in love all over again when I saw the '03:p
I was kind of dissapointed how Nissan "packaged" some of the options though. I'm not too sure how the Canadian models will be packaged but some of the standard items that came with my SL shows as "options" on the new SL. Heated seats; it's a must for CDN winters(once you have one-you'll always want one) and shows as an option on the SL of the '09. In order to get it; I would have to get the "Leather" package just to get heated seats that was a standard on the SL.
Anyhow; they did a nice job(so did you-thanks) on putting together an eye-candy brochure. Thanks!!!

My local dealer has reported to me that Nissan says there will be a "substantial" bump in pricing on the 2009 Murano (my guess is this is due to economic outlook for the coming year with a weakening US dollar).

Not sure if "substantial" amounts to a few hundred dollars or a larger bump in price.

I would say that the best value by far is going to be the LE. It's going to come effectively "loaded" for what I hope is a $35K sticker price. It's also nice to see Nissan make things like rear heated seats, power lift gate and the safety oriented backup camera standard on the LE version.

Also looking through the brochure it appears that the much touted "heated steering wheel" feature has been dropped (there was no mention of it) but the LE version does come with rain sensing wipers and outboard heated side mirrors.

I have to say that I'm just very impressed with the list of standard features on the LE. I would like to get an LE with moonroof for my wife in a few months (assuming it drives as well as the previous Murano we test drove) but it will depend on pricing. I am fortunate enough to get VPP so I will be able to get the car for a bit under invoice. Hopefully LE with Moonroof pkg will come in at $36K or so MSRP and $33.5K invoice.

That's comparing to the $40K sticker base MDX that she wants, which I might be able to negotiate down to $37K. The MDX has a rather paltry list of features in comparison (no keyless entry or starting, no power liftgate, no rear cargo organizer, no rear heated seats, no ipod interface, no touchscreen interface, etc, etc) and gets worse gase mileage. The MDX does have 3rd row seating, but I suspect we won't use it.

If the pricing in the US for the LE there is around 35K - 37K; I suspect the Canadian price for the exact same car here will be about $49k-$53k:3:
The '03 SL we purchased new back then was $41k with the sunroof. The SL's started at $40k and it came with the Bose; heated cloth seats; heated side mirrors; auto rear-view mirror w/homelink and compass; power driver seat; dual temp control and a bunch of other items were all standard equipment. I guess that why there's some discrepancy in pricing between the US and Canada....

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Canadian models have completely different option packages and standard equipment.

One would expect the gap in pricing RE Canada/US to narrow, based on relative valuation of the two currencies.
As I remember it, the Loonie was running "about" 72-75 cents US back in 03. The valuation is essentially on par now. ie 1 Loonie=1 Buck.

I think there will always be a gap due to taxation and greed.

Wow. I want one.

One thing I noted was the wheelbase is the same as the '07, 111.2". I thought it was going to be larger.

Also, must be a misprint, but the '09 storage is noted as 61 cuft w/ seats down. The '07 was listed at 81???????

Overall deminsion increased by one inch, why bother?

Interior looks very comfy and the exterior is growing on me.
