Ye, I read these numbers a few days ago. No real surprises, new Murano is coming, Rouge is there....I still think Murano did great job and exceed sales expectations....the new Murano will have a tough time to follow. There is so many crossovers on the market now...

The MO competes in a unique class now - sort of the entry level luxury crossover without the luxury nameplate - its natural competitors I think are the Lexus RX350 and the Lincoln MKX. The lack of a third row precludes it from being competitive with family movers like the Highlander, Pilot, or MDX.

I thought the Murano did really well in both December and overall for the year, considering that the '07 production must have stopped a few months ago and that the 2009 model was already shown to the public.
