So I was following a black Murano SL last night and it was dark. I noticed that the digital compass on the rearview mirror was Green and not Amber like mine. Did a particular model year come with green gauges unlike my 06? I H-A-T-E the amber display in my MO, but I live with it since there was no other choice. If I can replace all those ugly amber lights with green or blue, I'd LOVE TO! Any ideas?

| 03 here - green compass display on my rear view mirror. Nissan probably switched suppliers for the mirror between model years. |

Ahh, ok. So your gauges and everything else are amber? Just your mirror is green?

| On my 03 the mirror compass is blue, and the gauges are amber as well as the backlights an the switches. |

Thanks, guys. Sounds like I got my panties all in a bunch over nothing. Seems that the '03 had the green on the mirror only and the rest of us have (butt ugly - IMHO) amber.

| My '05 has the blue/green for the compass only as well. I would suspect all the 03-05 MO's have this. I'll trade you my rearview mirror for your LED tail lights! :D |

Wow, that's nuts. Ok, so basically it seems like there is no rhyme or reason as to what years have amber vs. blue.
WRT the tail-lights. Did they change between your model and mine? To be honest, I think I'd rather put up with a matched ugly amber set as opposed to a mismatched amber gauges and green mirror, so I guess I'll pass on the swap. :)

06-07 = amber
Stu must have an add-on installed or replaced by dealer or someone. Stu, is yours an S model?
I f you do a search, there is a company in RI that will replace all of your lights with blue. Even if you have the monochrome display. |

No, mine is an SL, came from the factory with the mirror installed.

Sorry, but I mislead you here.
I checked, I do have the amber compass display. The vehicle I traded for the Mo had a blue/green display. |
