I have a 2006 S with the basic CD unit. I have not SAT button and believe I have 4 speakers. Everywhere I have read talks about being able to play MP3 CDs. I tried to play one today and no sound came out. The display unit counted duration, but when I hit the track skip button it just started over track 1 again.
Do all Murano stereos play MP3 CDs?
On a side note, will the iPod integration unit work with my stereo despite having no SAT button? |

| My gf's 03 doesnt play mp3's. As for the IPOD thing, you gotta wait for someone else to chime in for that answer. |

Welcome to the forum.
According to the literature, your 2006 MO would have to be equipped with the BOSE system in order to play MP3 CDs.
I have the same radio in my 2005 and am able to record my own CDs and they play back just fine.

MP3 CDs or regular CD-R? |

I haven't recorded a CD in a while, but if I remember correctly I simply burned an audio disc using MP3 files as the source. The burning software converted the MP3 files into simple audio files.
They play just fine on the MO's CD player.
